    2025 – Present

    Leading full-cycle development of an Android plant care app built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Architected the Room database schema supporting plant profiles, watering schedules, and household sharing. Coordinated team workflow via GitLab — branching conventions, code reviews, and API integration.

Working with backend systems, relational databases, and API design throughout my projects at George Brown College has motivated me to apply for a Junior Backend Developer position at your company. I've built a genuine appreciation for well-architected backend systems — ones that are clean, reliable, and built to scale — and I'm eager to bring that mindset to a professional team.

I approach backend development with patience and structure, keeping both the small details and the bigger system picture in mind at the same time. I've designed and built RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and ASP.NET Core, developed relational database schemas in PostgreSQL and MySQL, and containerized services using Docker. I've written complex SQL scripts, integrated Redis caching, and set up CI workflows with GitHub Actions — and I document my work thoroughly so that teammates can always follow what I've built and why.
